Demographic and profile data are also collected at our site. Generally, this information is collected through “traffic data” and may entail the use of “Cookies”, “IP addresses”, “referrers”, “system information”, or other numeric codes used to identify a computer. These methods of collecting information and the use of such information are discussed in more detail below.

Registration Data. We may use Registration Data to tailor and deliver the RightPath Resources’ service to your particular needs for services. A secondary use is for RightPath’s ongoing academic research to continually improve our assessment products. We also use Registration Data to send you information about our company and service and to keep you informed of enhancements and complementary products in which you might be interested.

Cookies. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you’d prefer, you can set your browser to refuse cookies. However, you will not be able to take full advantage of our web site if you do so. We may use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and to save your password so that if you choose to, you do not have to re-enter your password each time you visit our site. RightPath Resources does not have access to the information obtained from those cookies.

IP Addresses. IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer so that data (such as the Web pages you request) can be sent to you. They are automatically gathered by our Web server. RightPath Resources will not use your IP address to attempt to identify your personal information.

Referrers. A Referrer is the information passed along by a web browser that references the Web URL you linked from, and is automatically gathered by our web server. This information is sent automatically by your web browser when you are connected to a web site and is used by RightPath Resources only for broad demographic statistics. This information may be used by RightPath Resources in identifying broad demographic trends and may be used to provide information appropriate for your computer system. You will not be personally identified from this information.

Sharing of Information. RightPath Resources feels strongly that your personal data should only be seen by you, unless you choose to share it with others. We will never sell, rent, license or exchange personally identifiable data with a third party without your permission. Some of your information may be shared on an aggregate basis only, as a part of a larger set of statistics (for example, statistics that indicate the percentage of our members that are female), but that information will not be sufficient to permit the recipient to identify you. RightPath Resources may disclose personally identifiable data without your permission in the following limited circumstances: (i) if RightPath Resources is required to do so by law, or (ii) if RightPath Resources has the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to applicable laws or comply with legal process served on RightPath Resources, or to protect and defend the rights or property of RightPath Resources or another Member or to enforce the Terms of Service, (iii) Rightpath does disclose RightPath Profile results during team training and development seminars and management coaching sessions in which you participate. Should RightPath in future, be bought by another company or merge with another company, you will be notified and your profile and user information would be made available to that company in the same manner as it is available to RightPath Resources, Inc.

Profile result usage. RightPath does reserve the right to use the profiles score for internal research validation and improvement of the assessments. All information will be confidential and not released. Any data used in research will be “blinded” not to reveal the names associated with scores. RightPath may from time to time, at its discretion, check profiles for accuracy in scoring as part of overall quality control.
